About Us
Peeling paint, faded siding, and a chalky roof coating make your place look tired and can let water in, and rushed do it yourself work often leaves lap marks, drips, and early failure. We fix that with careful prep, the right products for each surface, and steady communication, and we handle it all as your interior house painter, exterior house painter, and roof painter in Otago.
We bring years of hands-on painting in Otago and we’re based here, with tight prep, tested primers, and the right coating for each surface. What sets Otago House Painters apart is our careful surface testing, neat masking, daily site cleanup, and we’re insured.
You get straight pricing with clear scope, materials, and coat counts, along with tidy jobsites and daily updates so you always know what’s next. We carry full insurance, train our painters, test colours on your walls, offer low odour paint on request, and finish with a walkthrough and a written warranty.
Interiors include drywall repair, stain blocking, caulking, sanding, and smooth spray or brush and roll finishes that cover evenly and stop yellowing from kitchen stains and wood tannins. Exteriors and roofs start with washing and scraping, then spot priming bare areas and sealing gaps, because skipping prep or painting in cold or damp air causes peeling, blistering, and early failure, and we plan work for the right weather window and paint metal and tile roofs while avoiding asphalt shingle coating unless the shingle maker allows it.
